Job Description
As a Lead Hardware Engineer, you are responsible for designing and calculating electrical systems for a variety of maritime projects. You collaborate closely with project managers and serve as a technical point of contact within the team. From creating drawings and schematics to ensuring compliance with applicable standards—you ensure each project runs smoothly. Additionally, you support project preparation and assist the workshop with panel building.
Your responsibilities as Lead Hardware Engineer:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for maritime applications;
- Gathering and analyzing technical specifications based on project requirements;
- Performing calculations and validations to meet standards and client requirements;
- Collaborating with project managers and acting as a technical advisor;
- Providing support in the preparation and execution phases of projects;
- Continuously seeking optimizations and innovations within work processes.
Job Requirements
- MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- Experience with EPLAN P8 (Propanel experience is a plus);
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software tools;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of applicable standards, regulations, and guidelines;
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset;
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

- Salary up to €6,500 gross per month (depending on experience);
