E/I Engineer Petrochemical Renewables

Job Description
As an E&I Engineer (Senior or Medior), you will contribute to the design, documentation and implementation of electrical and instrumentation solutions for complex projects. You will be part of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) team and report to the Team Lead EIC. You support projects throughout their full lifecycle, from risk assessments and design to panel testing and client documentation.
Your responsibilities as E&I Engineer:
- Support the Lead EIC Engineer in project execution and planning;
- Translate internal and external project specifications into E&I deliverables;
- Ensure on-time and accurate completion of assigned tasks within scope and budget;
- Follow safety regulations, environmental standards, ATEX and IEC guidelines;
- Select materials and maintain E&I design documents, drawings and diagrams;
- Review and approve technical documents from colleagues and third parties;
- Assist with programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC panels;
- Provide technical guidance and research support to the team;
- Participate in assembly activities when required by project scope;
- Ensure accurate client documentation in cooperation with the Lead Engineer;
- Identify and implement design improvements and resolve deficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor level education in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation;
- 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience in technical systems or installations;
- Knowledge of applicable laws, standards, inspection and safety procedures (ATEX, IEC);
- Experience with panel building and PLCs is a plus;
- Familiarity with E-plan P8, Lint Ribbon or Propanel is required;
- Experience with risk analysis and standard engineering processes is a plus;
- Basic or VOL VCA certification is advantageous;
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
