Job Description
As an Engineer Systems Requirements & Verification, you are responsible for documenting and managing customer requirements for maritime projects. You document these in a Requirements Management tool and translate them into functional specifications for internal teams and external suppliers. Additionally, you ensure the traceability of requirements and perform system verification to guarantee compliance. You report to the Manager Systems Engineering and work closely with project teams.
Your responsibilities as an Engineer Systems Requirements & Verification:
- Documenting customer requirements and tracking changes in a Requirements Management tool;
- Ensuring clear and structured functional and non-functional specifications;
- Collaborating with project engineers and stakeholders for feasible and verifiable requirements;
- Maintaining the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and managing the Verification & Validation plan;
- Preparing and distributing reports on verification and validation activities within the design and development process of naval ships.
Job Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Maritime Technology, Naval Architecture, or a similar technical field;
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles, particularly Requirements Management and Verification & Validation (experience with DOORS is a plus);
- Experience with engineering processes and analytical thinking;
- Ability to collaborate effectively within complex, international projects;
- Good communication skills in English (Dutch and German are a plus).
Employment Conditions
- An attractive salary up to €8,500 and 8% holiday allowance;
- 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days;
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;
