Job Description
As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing maritime automation, navigation, and electric propulsion systems. You work closely with the engineering and innovation departments and represent the company at shipyards and on board customer vessels worldwide. After an internal training period, you will carry out assignments independently, with remote support from colleagues when needed.

Your responsibilities as Service Engineer

• Perform commissioning activities for newly delivered systems on board ships;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on existing installations worldwide;
• Provide technical support on-site at shipyards and customer locations;
• Maintain close contact with customers and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams;
• Report technical findings and improvement points to engineering and innovation teams;
• Professionally represent the company on board and during international service projects.

Job Requirements

• Completed MBO-4 or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Automotive Engineering;
• Suitable for both starters and candidates with several years of experience;
• Customer-oriented attitude and strong communication skills;
• Analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset;
• Willingness to travel abroad (mainly short trips of 3–4 days);
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
