Job Description
As a Van Workshop Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the workshop. You combine your technical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure that technicians can perform at their best. You oversee workshop planning, support your team with technical challenges and ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out according to the highest quality and safety standards. In addition, you will have plenty of opportunities to improve processes, implement new ideas and make an important contribution to the further development of the workshop.

Your responsibilities as a Van Workshop Manager

• Leading and coaching the team of commercial vehicle technicians;
• Assigning work and ensuring an efficient workshop schedule;
• Supporting technicians with technical diagnostics and complex repairs;
• Monitoring the quality of completed maintenance and repair work;
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and workshop procedures;
• Identifying, developing and implementing improvements within the workshop;
• Encouraging teamwork, development and motivation within the team;
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring the professional completion of all work.

Job Requirements

• Completed MBO Level 4 education in Automotive Engineering or Commercial Vehicle Technology;
• Experience as an automotive technician, commercial vehicle technician or in a similar technical role;
• Leadership experience or the ambition to grow into a leadership position;
• MOT (APK) certification is an advantage, or you are willing to obtain it;
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• A coaching leadership style with the ability to motivate colleagues;
• A customer-focused, solution-oriented and stress-resistant attitude;
• An enthusiastic and motivated work ethic with a strong focus on quality.
