Industrial Maintenance Technician

You will work in a modern and highly automated production environment with a wide range of machinery, production lines, and technical installations. Depending on the organization, you will work regular day shifts or in a 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-shift system. The position may also involve on-call duties or breakdown and emergency maintenance shifts.

Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping machinery, production lines, and installations technically available, reliable, and safe. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance and respond when technical breakdowns occur. You will analyze the root cause of problems, resolve technical issues, and ensure that production can resume as quickly and safely as possible. You will work independently while also working closely with colleagues from the Maintenance Department, operators, engineers, and the production team.

Your responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician

• Locate, analyze and resolve technical breakdowns affecting machinery, production lines, and installations;
• Perform preventive, corrective and periodic maintenance;
• Maintain, repair, adjust and replace mechanical and electical components;
• Work on production lines, conveyor systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves and pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
• Carry out inspections and identify sings of wear and potential technical issues at an early stage;
• Read and apply technical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals;
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and contribute to structural technical improvements;
• Register maintenance activities and breakdowns in the relevant systems;
• Working in accordance with applicable safety, quality, hygiene and company regulations.

Job Requirements

• Completed technical education at MBO-3 or MBO-4 level, or equivalent technical experience;
• A solid technical foundation in mechanics and/or electrical engineering;
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, control technology or PLCs is an advantage;
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical breakdowns;
• A practical, solution-oriented approach and an accurate way of working;
• Strong awareness of safety, quality and hygiene requirements;
• Good communication skills (GOOD ENGLISH) and a proactive attitude;
• Having a driving license is mandatory;
• Willing to relocate to The Netherlands for the long term;
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a technical team.

• Very good weekly pay up to €750,- net per week for 40 hours (depending on experience);
