Job Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you are responsible for designing and calculating electrical installations for various maritime projects. You work closely internally and are a technical point of contact within the team. From preparing drawings and schematics to verifying designs against applicable standards, you ensure that each project runs technically smoothly. Additionally, you guide the work preparation and support the workshop in panel construction.

Your responsibilities as a Hardware Engineer:

• Designing and developing electrical systems for maritime applications;
• Collecting and analyzing technical specifications based on project requirements;
• Performing calculations and checks to meet standards and customer requirements;
• Working closely with the lead engineer/project manager and acting as a technical advisor;
• Providing support in the preparation and realization of projects;
• Continuously seeking optimizations and innovations within the work process.

Job Requirements

• MBO or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar;
• Experience with EPLAN P8 (experience with Propanel is a plus);
• Good command of Excel and other relevant software tools;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge of applicable standards, regulations, and guidelines;
• Analytical and solution-oriented;
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
