Job Description
As a Workshop Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the workshop. You combine your technical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure that technicians can perform at their best. You oversee workshop planning, support your team with technical challenges and ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out according to the highest quality and safety standards. In addition, you play an important role in the further development of the location and actively contribute to creating an efficient and professional working environment.

Your responsibilities as a Workshop Manager

• Leading and coaching a team of truck and commercial vehicle technicians;
• Coordinating work orders and ensuring an efficient workshop schedule;
• Monitoring the quality of completed maintenance and repair work;
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and workshop procedures;
• Supporting technicians with technical questions and complex diagnostics;
• Ensuring optimal cooperation between the workshop, warehouse and service department;
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring the professional completion of all work;
• Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to the optimization of workshop processes.

Job Requirements

• Completed MBO-level education in Commercial Vehicle Technology, Automotive Engineering or a comparable technical field;
• Experience as a truck, commercial vehicle or automotive technician;
• Experience in a leadership role within the automotive or technical industry;
• Experience with workshop management and leading a team;
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair processes for trucks and commercial vehicles;
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• A coaching leadership style with the ability to motivate colleagues;
• A customer-focused, solution-oriented and stress-resistant attitude.
